拭き漆のお箸(ぐりぐり)

拭き漆(※1)で丁寧に仕上げました。
口に入る部分や手に持つ部分をすべて手作業で丸く成型し、口当たりのよさや手触りのよさにこだわりました。
素材を厳選しているため、お子様から大人まですべての方に安心して使っていただけます。

【備考】
※1　拭き漆
　木地に漆を薄く塗ってから拭き取るという工程を数回繰り返し、水分の吸い込みを止め、つやを上げていく技法。この工程の途中で、2～3回サンドペーパーで研ぎの工程を入れ、手触りや口当たりよく仕上げています。木目の美しさが際立ちます。

ground all edges of a spoon by hands for its softness when you put it in a mouth and touch it.
Due to the carefully selected materials everyone from children to adults can rest assured that it is safe to use it.

* I have shorter ones for kids(about 18cm).

* what is FUKI URUSHI ... Apply URUSHI to woods and wipe it off. Repeat it for several times to privend woods from absorbing water and bring out the lustre.During this process whet the woods with sandpaper for 2-3 times to make them softer when you put it in a mouth and touch it.This technique makes the grain of woods looks more beautiful.
